Experience Sri Lanka’s elephant haven on a thrilling Udawalawe day safari.

Udawalawe National Park, established as a sanctuary for animals displaced by the Walawe River reservoir, is now one of Sri Lanka’s three most visited parks. Famous for its large elephant population, the park also shelters sambar deer, spotted deer, wild boar, water buffalo, crocodiles, and—if you’re lucky—the elusive leopard.

This day tour begins with an early morning pickup from Colombo or Negombo, followed by a scenic 3–4 hour drive to the park. Once inside, your safari takes you across grasslands, forests, and wetlands, offering excellent opportunities for both wildlife viewing and bird watching.
