DAY 01 - Airport - Negombo

Upon arrival at the Bandaranayake international airport, you will be greeted and welcome by our chauffeur/guide and transferred to Negombo, which is located just a short drive from the airport. Spend your first day relaxing on the beach, exploring the town's colonial architecture, and visiting the Negombo Fish Market, where you can watch local fishermen bring in their catch of the day.

DAY 02 - Negombo - Anuradhapura

After breakfast road journey to Anuradhapura Enroute to Anuradhapura commence a jeep safari at Wilpattu National Park in a private open air jeep.During the safari, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals in their natural habitats, such as leopards, elephants, sloth bears, spotted deer, and water buffalo. Your guide will provide you with fascinating information about the wildlife and their behaviors, as well as the park's ecosystem and conservation efforts.

DAY 03 - Anuradhapura

After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura Anuradhapura is an ancient city located in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. It was once the capital of Sri Lanka and is considered a sacred city by Buddhists. The city is home to many ancient ruins of Sri Lankan civilization, massive man made lakes,  temples and monasteries.

Afternoon explore the historic site of Mihintale, Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed to be the place where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka, as the Indian Emperor Ashoka's son, Mahinda, is said to have preached the first sermon to King Devanampiya Tissa in 247 BC.

DAY 04 - Anuradhapura - Jaffna

After breakfast start road journey to Jaffna,Jaffna is a city located in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of the Jaffna District and is situated on the Jaffna Peninsula. Jaffna is a historic city with a rich cultural heritage and is home to many Tamil Hindu temples, churches, and other significant landmarks.
Afternoon sightseeing tour in Jaffna city, During this tour you will visit Jaffna Fort which is an iconic landmark in the city and a must-visit attraction. Built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and later fortified by the Dutch and the British,
The Nallur Kandasamy Kovil is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, located in Nallur, a suburb of Jaffna. It is one of the most prominent religious sites in Jaffna and holds great significance for the local Tamil community. 
The Jaffna Public Library is a renowned institution and an important symbol of knowledge and learning for the Tamil community. Although it was tragically destroyed during the civil war, it has been rebuilt and stands as a testament to the city's resilience.
Exploring the local markets in Jaffna is a fantastic way to experience the city's vibrant atmosphere and discover its culinary delights. The central market, known as the Jaffna Municipal Market, is a bustling hub where you can find a wide range of fresh produce, spices, traditional snacks, and handicrafts.

Trincomalee

Day 05 - Jaffna - Trincomalee

After breakfast start road journey to Trincomalee.
Trincomalee, is a port city located on the east coast of Sri Lanka. It is the administrative capital of the Trincomalee District and is home to a diverse population of Tamil, Sinhalese, and Muslim communities. The city has a rich history, having been ruled by various kingdoms throughout the centuries and serving as a major trading hub for the region.
Also Trincomalee is known for its natural harbor, which is one of the largest and deepest in the world. The city is also home to several beautiful beaches, including Uppuveli and Nilaveli, which are popular tourist destinations
Once you arrive in Trincomalee, you can check in to your hotel in Nilaveli.
- In the afternoon, you can visit Fort Frederick, which is a historical fort built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. The fort was later captured by the Dutch and then by the British. Today, the fort is used as a military base and is also a popular tourist attraction.
- Next, you can visit the Koneshwaram Hindu temple, which is located on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built in the 3rd century BC.

Day 06 - Nilaveli

Start your day early and head to Trincomalee for a whale watching tour.During the tour, you may be able to spot various species of whales such as blue whales, sperm whales, and humpback whales, as well as dolphins and sea turtles.
After the whale watching tour, head back to Nilaveli and spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach.

Day 07 - Nilaveli

After breakfast, morning start boat journey to Pigeon Island National Park.
Pigeon Island National Park is a beautiful destination for snorkeling, with clear waters and a variety of marine life to observe. You might be able to spot schools of colorful fish, sea turtles, and even reef sharks if you're lucky.
After your snorkeling excursion, you can return to the hotel and take some time to relax on the beach. You could take a swim, read a book, or simply soak up the sun.

Day 08 - Nilaveli - Sigiriya

After breakfast, start the road journey to Sigiriya.
In the afternoon, head to Minneriya National Park for a Jeep Safari. Minneriya National Park is known for its large population of Asian elephants, which can be seen gathering in large herds during the dry season (July-October) around the Minneriya Tank. The park is also home to other wildlife such as sambar deer, spotted deer, wild buffalo, and various species of birds. 
After your Jeep Safari, return to Habarana for a relaxing Ayurvedic Herbal Body treatment. Enroute, Explore Sigiriya Lion’s Rock Fortress: Sigiriya Lion's Rock Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the Matale District of Sri Lanka. The fortress is situated on top of a giant rock formation, and visitors can climb up to the top to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The climb can be quite steep and strenuous, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
Visit Dambulla Rock Caves Temple: The Dambulla Rock Caves Temple is another UNESCO World Heritage site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. The temple is famous for its five rock-cut caves, which contain a collection of beautiful Buddhist statues and paintings. Visitors can explore the caves and learn more about the history and culture of Sri Lanka.

Day 10 - Kandy-Colombo

After breakfast, you'll embark on a road journey to Colombo. This journey will likely take several hours, but you'll have plenty of time to take in the beautiful scenery of Sri Lanka along the way.
you'll start your day by visiting The Temple of Tooth Relic. This temple is one of the most important religious sites in Sri Lanka, and it houses a sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Visitors can explore the temple complex, which includes a number of shrines and museums.
After your visit to The Temple of Tooth Relic, you'll embark on a Kandy City Tour. Kandy is a vibrant city with a rich history and culture, and there are many sights to see. Some of the highlights of the tour may include the Kandy Lake, the Kandy Market, and the Royal Palace of Kandy.
