day 01 - Airport - Negombo

Upon arrival at the Bandaranayake international airport, you will be greeted and welcome by our chauffeur/guide
and transferred to Negombo, which is located just a short drive from the airport. Spend your first day relaxing on the beach, exploring the town's colonial architecture, Old Dutch Fort and visiting the Negombo Fish Market, where you can watch local fishermen bring in their catch of the day.

Day 02 - Negombo - Pinnawala - Kandy

After breakfast, start road journey to Kandy,
Enroute, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage,  Located approximately 2 hours from the airport, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage and breeding ground for Asian elephants. The orphanage was established in 1975 and is home to around 80 elephants, most of which are orphaned or rescued from the wild.
Here you will have the opportunity to witness the daily routines of over 80 elephants, including bathing in the river, feeding, and playing. This is a unique experience and one that you will not want to miss.
Next up is a visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Garden. This is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia, and it's home to a stunning array of flora and fauna. You'll have the opportunity to wander through the gardens, take in the sights and smells, and learn about the plants and animals that call the garden home.
After visiting Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, you will be taken to your hotel in Kandy where you can check in and relax. 
In the late afternoon, you will have the opportunity to enjoy Cultural Dance Show. The Kandyan dance, which is characterized by its energetic drumming and acrobatic movements. Kandyan dances are performed by highly skilled dancers dressed in vibrant costumes. The Kandy cultural dance show is a popular tourist attraction that showcases these traditional dances

Day 03 - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast start road journey to Nuwara Eliya,
Morning visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the most important temple for the Buddhist all over the world. The temple was originally built by the Kandyan Kings in 1595, to house and honor the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. 
 Once completed the temple, You'll embark on a walking tour of  Kandy City. Kandy is a vibrant city with a rich history and culture, and there are many sights to see. Some of the highlights of the tour may include the Kandy Lake, the Kandy Market, and the Royal Palace of Kandy. 
Visit Ramboda Waterfall, which is approximately 109 meters high and is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka.  The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and is a popular tourist attraction in the area.
Visiting a Tea factory and plantation is one of the most popular activities in Sri Lanka for tea lovers, and there are several tea plantations and factories offer guided tours that take you through the tea-making process, from the initial plucking of the tea leaves to the final packaging of the tea for sale. You'll learn about the different types of tea produced in Sri Lanka, including black tea, green tea, and white tea, and have the opportunity to taste some of the teas produced at the factory.

Day 04 - Nuwara Eliya

Early morning trekking at Horton Plains National Park is an experience like no other. Located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking natural wonderland that offers stunning panoramic views, diverse wildlife, and unique plant species.
As you begin your trek in the early morning, the crisp air and cool temperatures create a refreshing atmosphere. The trek is usually around 9km, and the first part takes you through a dense cloud forest. As you walk through the misty forest, you may spot some of the many species of birds that call the park home, including the Sri Lanka White-eye and the Sri Lanka Junglefowl.
As you emerge from the forest, the landscape opens up to reveal vast grasslands and rolling hills. One of the highlights of the trek is reaching the World's End, a sheer cliff drop of nearly 870 meters that offers a breathtaking view of the valley below.

Afternoon explore the charming city of Nuwara Eliya, also known as Little England. During this city tour visiting all the main attractions include colonial buildings, local markets,  Lake Gregory and seeing beautiful landscapes covered with tea plants, a contrasting view.

Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya - Ella

After breakfast wonderful train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella
You will leave for Ella by train. Once you reach Nanu-oya railway station, you will board a train that will take you to Ella. train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella is definitely one of the most scenic train journeys in South Asia! The train ride covers a distance of about 68 km and takes around 3 hours to complete, depending on the train and stops.
The route takes you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Sri Lanka, including tea plantations, misty mountains, and cascading waterfalls. Along the way, you'll pass through small towns and villages, giving you a glimpse into local life in the region.
After reaching Ella, you will check in to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Nine Arch Bridge, which is located close to Ella. The bridge is a popular tourist attraction and is known for its stunning architecture and picturesque surroundings. It is also a great spot for photography.
After visiting the Nine Arch Bridge, you will trek to Mini Adam's Peak. The trek is not very difficult and can be completed in approximately 30-45 minutes. The view from the top is breathtaking and offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Day 06 - Ella - Yala

After breakfast start road journey to Yala,
En-route Visit Rawana Waterfall, which is a stunning natural waterfall located near the town of Ella, also known for its scenic beauty. The waterfall is named after Rawana, a character from the Hindu epic Ramayana, who is believed to have hidden Princess Sita in a cave behind the waterfall. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views of the waterfall and take a refreshing swim in the cool waters.
After enjoying Rawana waterfall head towards Buduruwagala Temple, which is an ancient Buddhist temple located in the town of Wellawaya, about an hour's drive from Rawana Waterfall. The temple is known for its impressive rock carvings, which date back to the 10th century. The main attraction of the temple is a 15-meter high rock sculpture of Lord Buddha, flanked by two smaller sculptures.
After visiting  Buduruwagala Temple, head towards to Yala and check into the hotel in Yala.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park. As the jeep winds its way through the park, visitors will have the opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, sambar deer, wild boar, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The park is particularly renowned for its leopard sightings, and visitors will have a good chance of spotting one of these elusive big cats during the safari.

Day 07 - Yala - Galle

Early morning jeep safari at Yala National park will begin before sunrise, usually around 5:30 or 6:00 am, to take advantage of the cool morning weather and increased chances of spotting wildlife.  The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears, sambar deers, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
After the safari, you will have breakfast at your hotel and then depart for Galle, a coastal city in the southern part of Sri Lanka. 
During the road journey, you will make a stop in Koggala, a small fishing village, to watch the traditional stilt fishermen in action. These fishermen stand on tall wooden stilts planted in the shallow waters and use a fishing rod to catch fish. It is a unique sight and an important part of Sri Lanka's cultural heritage.
After that, you will check in to your hotel in Galle and have some time to freshen up before embarking on a Late afternoon Galle Fort Walk. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved colonial-era forts in Asia. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch.
During the walking tour, you will explore the narrow streets and alleys lined with colonial-era buildings, including churches, mosques, and colonial-era mansions. You will also visit the ramparts, bastions, and gates that surround the fort, providing stunning views of the Indian Ocean and the city.

Day 08 - Galle

After breakfast, embark on Kanneliya Rain Forest Tour, Kanneliya Rainforest is a stunning and biodiverse forest located in the Galle District of Sri Lanka. A tour of Kanneliya Rainforest offers an opportunity to explore one of the last remaining rainforests in Sri Lanka and witness its unique flora and fauna.
The tour typically starts with a visit to the Kanneliya Forest Reserve, which covers over 10,000 hectares of land and is home to a wide range of animals, including mountain leopards, deers, monkeys, and birds. Visitors can take a guided trek through the rainforest, which can be customized to suit different interests and physical abilities.
During the trek, visitors can expect to see a variety of plant species, including rare orchids, ferns, and medicinal plants. The tour also includes a visit to the Kanneliya Waterfall, which is a breathtaking cascade that drops over 20 meters into a natural pool.

Day 09 - Galle - Colombo


After breakfast start road journey to Colombo,
On the way, Mangrove boat safari at Madu Ganga (river) : This is a popular attraction in Sri Lanka. Madu river is located in the southern part of the island and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The mangrove boat safari will take you through the lush mangrove forests and offer you a chance to spot various species of birds, reptiles, and fish. You can also visit some of the small islands located within the river.
Visit Turtle Conservation Project: This is another popular attraction in Sri Lanka, where you can learn about the conservation efforts for sea turtles. The project aims to protect sea turtles and their eggs from poaching and provide a safe environment for them to thrive. You can observe the turtles and their hatchlings and learn about their life cycle and the challenges they face.
After visiting Turtle Conservation Project, head towards Colombo and start  Colombo City Tour:  Colombo City Tour is a  tour that takes you on a journey through the bustling capital of Sri Lanka which offers a mix of modern and colonial architecture and cultural landmarks.
During the tour, you may visit some of the popular attractions such as the National Museum, Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, Galle Face Green and the Old Parliament Building. 
Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to explore Colombo's bustling markets, where you can shop for souvenirs, try local street food, and interact with the friendly locals.
